The iPhone 14 will have a 48 MP camera from 2022 to record 8K video. The iPhone 14 series will not have a mini phone.
Next year’s iPhone 14 series will feature two 6.1-inch iPhones and two 6.7-inch iPhones. That means Apple will stop making the 5.4-inch iPhone Mini from next year. But in 2021 the iPhone 13 Mini will remain. However, the iPhone 13 mini phone is expected to be made in small quantities.
The iPhone in 2022 will feature two iPhone’s with 6.1-inch and 6.7-inch displays and two iPhone Pro’s with the same 6.1-inch and 6.7 inch displays.
Apple analyst Ming-Chu Kuo has released some clear reports on Apple’s movements over the next few years.
The 2022 iPhone Pro models are expected to have a new 48MP main camera. It can output 12MP images with a large 2.5μm pixel pitch. The main camera of the current iPhone 12 phone produces 12MP photos with a pitch of 1.7μm. The 2021 iPhone 13 phones will have a 12MP camera. The 2022 iPhone has a 48 MP main camera so that the phone can record 8K video.
Perhaps this year the iPhone’s Pro models will have the Periscope zoom camera.
Apple is expected to reduce the size of its iPhone IDs by about 10% this year. From some leaks we can see that in 2024 an iPhone will come with a hidden Face ID under the display.
